Epic Games has announced that Infinity Blade will get a massive content pack called “Infinity Blade: Arena”. One of the most anticipated features of said content pack is without a doubt the addition of a multiplayer mode. Playing with friends is always great fun, and slaying them online on your iPhone or iPad in a fair sword fight sounds very promising. One of you will be playing as a knight while the other will be controlling one of Infinity Blade’s Titans. The twist will be that Titans can speed up and slow down their attacks. That’s a clever gameplay variation to make sure you can’t just depend on the skills you learned in the singleplayer campaign – you will have to adapt.
Besides the one vs one multiplayer, “Infinity Blade: Arena” will also add a survivor mode in which the game throws an endless amount of Titans at you to see how far you can go. Besides these new game modes, the update will also bring new items, new holiday helms, new achievements and a Facebook integration that allows you to export your character for your profile. After “The Deathless Kings” this is yet again a massive update and should keep you busy for quite a while!
