The iPad 2 is available in the US since today. And to make a purchase worth your while we are seeing updates for the iOS heavy weights Dead Space and Infinity Blade and the release of iPad 2 optimized Real Racing 2 HD.
Dead Space HD comes with enhanced graphics to take advantage of the beefy A5 processor and the enhanced graphic capabilities the iPad 2 comes with. It also includes 2 new features that fans of the game were asking for: Adjustable look sensitivity and y-axis inversion. Those two features are also available in a free update for the iPhone and iPod Touch version of Dead Space. Dead Space HD is also on sale for $6.99 at the moment, so be sure to grab it before it’s back up at $9.99.
Infinity Blade has just seen a huge update called ‘The Deathless Kings’ that has added tons of content to this incredible game. Now Chair will push the graphical limits on iOS even further with yet another update to take advantage of the new iPad 2. The update is not live yet as I’m writing this article, but it should show up within the next hours. That’s what I call support, kudos to Chair!
And last but not least the release of Firemints Real Racing 2 HD that has been optimized for the iPad 2. Reactions to this release have been positive so far, so if you are into racing, what are you waiting for?
It’s really good to see developers supporting the iPad 2 from day one. Let’s hope the support continues to be this good for the future then I am sure we will see some amazing titles – well, to be fair, with Infinity Blade, Dead Space and Real Racing 2 we already have some amazing titles right now!
