The Sailor’s Dream: Maybe Not A “Gamer’s Game”, But Still Awesome

First of all, let me say one word: Simogo. If that doesn’t ring a bell, then I am happy to tell you that there are several games on the App Store that you’ll have to download and play immediately. Simogo is one of my favorite, if not the favorite, iOS developer out there. To get an idea, have a look at our reviews of some of their games: Bumpy Road and Kosmo Spin.

In contrast to Bumpy Road and Kosmo Spin, and as the title of this post suggests, The Sailor’s Dream is not quite a game in the classical sense, it’s more of an audiovisual experience. If I remember correctly, the last time I’ve used that term extensively was when Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP was released on the App Store. And I absolutely loved it. So if you dont consider hardcore action sequences as a necessity in your iPhone and iPad games, then I highly suggest you have a look at The Sailor’s Dream. As well as any other release by the fine folks called Simogo.
